The idea and concept behind the Luffe 45+ is a further development of the popular Luffe 45.

The Luffe 45 has been built since 2009 and there have been very few used ones for sale, which gives us

an indication of a boat model that owners are generally very happy with.

However, that doesn't change the fact that we at the shipyard have decided that something needs to

happen with the design, especially the hull design.

The basic dimensions will not change, but a steeper stern and a steeper bow will ensure a more

modern look without spoiling the timeless look.

The Luffe 45+ is set to be even more comfortable to handle, both in harbour manoeuvres and when

sailing. Many of our customers sail with ‘small’ or no crew, so it's important that the boat can be

handled by two or one person.

We want to make the boat lighter and faster by making the hull in carbon fibre, making the bottom

frame in carbon fibre, building bulkheads in sandwich material and a general focus on weight saving

during production. A deeper bow and stern will ensure a longer waterline.

Easier handling during harbour manoeuvres is achieved through design and engineering. The stern has

a fixed integrated platform for easy handling of moorings. The aft coffin benches have been retained for

safety during sailing and easy access to fenders and moorings. The coffin benches also contribute to

the helmsman's comfort when sailing.

On the technical side, space is reserved for a bow thruster in the bow and stern, with a bow thruster at

both ends of the boat, manoeuvring in narrow harbours becomes a possibility, even when sailing solo.

The Luffe 45+ will be equipped with an integrated bowsprit, where there will be space for a built-in

Code sail roller to ensure quick, easy and safe operation of the Code sail.

The sail area will not be changed as standard, we aim to have sails in a size that is easy to handle, the

higher speed is gained by lower weight and longer waterline.

Obviously, if desired, the mast can be delivered higher for more sail area, the same goes for the boat's

draught, which will be 2.40 metres as standard, but it can be adjusted up and down as desired.

GO FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL

LUFFE 3.6

A small yacht that lives big

The Luffe 3.6 is the yacht with the illusion that it is small. On the inside the boat appears larger that it does when looking at it from the outside.

The cabins are large and are not only very practical, but also comfortable. In spite, the design has been kept light weight and aesthetic as on all Luffe boats.

The Luffe 3.6 handles effortlessly and has with its modern keel an extremely high stability. All halyards and sheets are conveniently accessible and winches have proper dimensions to match their purpose. The joy of sailing is thus not ruined by strenuous work.

The Luffe 3.6 is like the Luffe 40.04 equipped with a fully integrated self-tacking rail for the front sails. Sailing upwind becomes playtime for everybody on board.

The accommodation is as always both of the highest quality and customized to the wishes of the customer. The customer can among other options to pick which sort of wood the accommodation is made of, which fabric is used, and the color of it.

The magazines have quoted the Luffe 3.6 to ”become a new classic” and ”extremely homely”.
